“The monsoon changed the whole forest lush green, captivating the onlooker. The beauty of the forest was intensified by sounds from the alarm calls of spotted deer, mating peafowls, and chirping birds. Among these, traversing the green canopy, a sub-adult tusker entered the scene. Mighty as it seemed with no dearth of poise, left the aura breathtaking.” This young Tusker (Male elephant) was photographed on 2nd August 2019, in The Wild Terrains of Nagarahole Forest, Kabini range by our photographer Ankul Shetty.
