Tour Overview

Ladakh in winter offers an exceptional opportunity to explore one of India's most remote wildlife regions. This February expedition focuses on tracking the elusive Snow Leopard while searching for other Himalayan species across Ladakh's dramatic mountain landscapes.

After two days of acclimatisation in Leh, the journey moves into the wildlife-rich valleys of Saspochey, Ulley, and Hemis Shukpachan, where guests spend several days tracking Snow Leopards and observing species such as Tibetan Wolf, Blue Sheep, Tibetan Argali, Red Fox, and Himalayan birds.

The expedition then continues to Changthang, with a focus on Pallas's Cat, Tibetan Sand Fox, Tibetan Gazelle, and other high-altitude wildlife. Supported by experienced local trackers and guides, this journey combines wildlife exploration, photography opportunities, and authentic stays in Ladakhi homestays.
