Explore three of Tanzania’s best northern parks over a course of 8 days. Spend 4 nights in the Serengeti Game Reserve, 2 nights in Tarangire National Park, and a night at Lake Manyara National Park. Perfect for adventure enthusiasts this tour is designed for those who are eager to witness Africa’s Big 5 in their natural habitat.

The Great Wildebeest Calving Migration Safari is the highlight of this tour, which has been designed specifically to focus on following the Great Serengeti Wildebeest migration during calving from December to March. During our tour, the focus is cast around the Lake Ndutu area, as well as the Southern areas of Serengeti to witness thousands of wildebeest spread across the plains, grazing on the rich short grass plains. Predator action is at its peak with great sightings of cheetah, lion, hyena and leopard – A very good chance to see adrenaline-packed hunting sequences. The tour also includes a visit to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater.

  • This Tour is for anyone and everyone of minimum age 18 (unless accompanied by parent) and are enthusiastic about wildlife, nature and/or photography.
  • If you are a beginner in wildlife photography  and/or a photography enthusiast looking to sharpen your photography skills, this is a perfect tour for you. Take advantage of our Mentor, who will share the tricks and trades of Wildlife photography on and off the field.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Meet at Arusha at around 7:00 AM.
  • Drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive.
  • Spot animals like buffalos, giraffes, impalas, and the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara.
  • Return to the camp/lodge for a brief photography tips and tricks session, followed by dinner and rest.
  • Depart after breakfast for the Ndutu area in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem.
  • As you enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will notice the landscape changing from hilly forests to plain and green grasslands as you drive further.
  • Spend the afternoon in the Ndutu area game drive with a convenient stop for your picnic lunch.
  • Spot animals like wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, and gazelles. Witness the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and nursery for the great migration.
  • Early morning wake-up call for breakfast
  • Depart for morning game drive around 6:00 AM
