Tour Overview

This is an Ex Kabini itinerary - 2 nights and 4 safaris, with all meals and the safari permit included in the tour cost.

Kabini sits at the meeting point of the Nagarhole and Bandipur forests in Karnataka and is regarded as one of the finest wildlife destinations in South India. The receding backwaters draw large herds of elephants to the shoreline, while the surrounding forest holds a healthy population of tigers and leopards, including the elusive melanistic leopard that has made this landscape famous among wildlife photographers.

September marks the start of the post-monsoon season, when the forest is lush and green and wildlife activity picks up around the water's edge. Across four guided jeep safaris, this itinerary is designed to give guests strong opportunities to experience Kabini's ecosystem.
