Tour Overview

This is an ex-Kabini itinerary featuring 2 nights and 4 safaris, with accommodation, all meals, and safari permits included in the tour cost.

Kabini lies at the meeting point of the Nagarhole and Bandipur forests in Karnataka and is widely regarded as one of South India's premier wildlife destinations. The receding backwaters attract large herds of elephants to the shoreline, while the surrounding forests support healthy populations of Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Dholes, and Gaur.

The region once gained worldwide attention for sightings of the elusive melanistic ('black') leopard. Although it has not been seen for some time, Kabini continues to captivate wildlife enthusiasts with its exceptional biodiversity and stunning landscapes.

September marks the beginning of the post-monsoon season, when the forest is at its greenest and wildlife activity increases around water sources. Through four guided safaris, this itinerary offers excellent opportunities to explore Kabini's diverse ecosystem and experience some of India's most iconic wildlife.
